From kitchens to vineyards, restaurants to cellars, Olivia Evans’ work is rooted in wine, food, and the people behind them. She tells the stories of makers and growers, creating immersive experiences for guests and readers alike.

As a certified sommelier, Olivia has worked in top restaurants across Australia and Europe, curated wine lists, stomped grapes, and poured countless glasses. Today, she hosts private tastings, runs events, and consults on wine programs.

With a deep understanding of wine craft and culture, Olivia has also become a writer and judge, using storytelling to educate and inspire.

In her 14 years of hospitality experience, Olivia has worked alongside exceptional sommeliers and contributed to some of Australia’s most highly regarded restaurants.

She has collaborated on wine lists awarded the prestigious three-glass rating by the Wine List of the Year Awards, curated wine pairing menus, and developed programs at Fleet Restaurant in Brunswick Heads, Paper Daisy at Halcyon House, La Lune Wine Bar in Brisbane, and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen in England.

Olivia’s dedication to service excellence was recognised with the Appetite for Excellence Young Waiter of the Year award. She has also judged for notable wine competitions including the Drink Easy Awards, Young Gun of Wine, and the Australian Organic Wine Awards.

Her days revolve around meals dreamt up, wines saved for the perfect moment, and the joy of bringing people together.
