Marcia believes many good things start in the kitchen, so she is passionate about cooking, eating together and sharing good company. In 1999 she established Marcia’s on Montague in West End, a place where people could purchase quality homewares and gifts, food and wine, or just stop in for a coffee and a chat. 

Marcia’s is now a Brisbane institution with an expanding range of activity. That includes collaboration between Marcia and the Boxties, embracing concerts, combinations of musical performance and wine tasting, and the community choral singing project, Singing in Good Company. 

And A Little More Red is a new phase in the partnership, recombining the elements of music, hospitality and community in a spirit of celebration and exploration, to see where they lead next.
