Jimmy Toone is a born and bred Adelaidean, whose interest in food and hospitality have taken him all over the world. After years in the Savoie region of France and the Nagano region of Japan, Jimmy came home to Adelaide to be Head Chef of the award-winning Salopian Inn – a McLaren Vale institution that frequently appears on Australia’s best restaurants lists.
Together with partner Jo Leal, Jimmy established Secret Pasta Club – the follow-up to the uber-popular Secret Pizza Club – which has become a cult favourite and smash hit among Adelaide foodies.
2025 has already been a busy year for Jimmy and Jo with SPC popping-up at Loc Bar, collaborating with Mug Chen and Chia Wu from Muni - a feature during Tasting Australia – and their regular dinners at Fall From Grace Wines are consistently sold out.
Secret Pasta Club is known for its refined style, strongly influenced by the discipline of origami in Japan and pastry work in France. Everything is truly made with love and you can feel the attention to detail in every bite.
