FHEAL Community Choir
Early this year, the Boxties and the HEAL Foundation (FHEAL) combined to form the FHEAL Community Choir, which sang in QPAC’s Songs of Hope and Healing Concert in the Brisbane Concert Hall.
The project was an outstanding success for all who were part of it, and now the Boxties and FHEAL are bringing the choir back.
Anyone from the community, student or adult, is welcome to come along and take part (provided they can get to rehearsals regularly). There is no cost to participate.
Perhaps you enjoyed being in the choir last time, and want to relive the experience or see where it goes next. Perhaps you heard about it from friends and want to find out if it is as exciting as they said.
The Friends of HEAL Community Choir will be rehearsing on Sundays 1:00pm to 3:00pm, beginning 9 September 2018 at the QPAC Merivale Street Studios. There will also be some rehearsals in the September school holidays to prepare for a combined concert with the Boxties and students of the Boxties Music School.
Looking forward to seeing you at the first rehearsal!
